Here's a picture of our daughter in her new bunny ears. They may look a little big, but she doesn't seem to mind.
Looking at her reminded me of bearing large loads. Christ took an immense load to the cross. He didn't have to carry the weight of the sins of the world. In his love, he chose to die to pay for your sins and mine.
Not only that, but he also promises to help us carry our earthly loads. He will not give us more than we can bear. He assures us that he will help us through each step of life, blessing us along the way.
Have a wonderful, blessed Easter. Rejoice that Christ bore our sins on the cross, died in our place, and rose from the dead to claim victory. Be assured that He is with us each day, offering strength and encouragement every step of the way.
