On Sunday, August 19, vicar Steve Lehmann was installed at Jesus Bread of Life congregation in Torreón. He will serve here until August 2008.Steve has completed two years of training at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He also has studied Spanish in various places, including Chile and Puebla, Mexico.
Having a vicar in Torreón brings a multitude of blessings. Steve will assist in preaching and teaching, as well as evangelism efforts. He will have a chance to meet the Mexican seminary students in Torreón. He will be able to share his experiences here at the seminary in Mequon when he returns next fall.
Join us in giving thanks for a vicar and asking God to bless his time here in Mexico.
