Going to the Beach to Cool Off

We just got back from a short beach vacation. While many Americans flock to Mexico's beaches during the cold winter months, we decided to go during the summer. We found the beach much cooler than our home and city in Torreón!

Here in Torreón, the temps are hitting at least 100F most days. At the beach, it was only in the 80s with an ocean breeze! We feel refreshed and are ready to face the warm months here.

I should add that we are currently in the hottest time of the year in Torreón. By July, temps should drop slightly, and by November, we may even need a jacket :) !!
