Thanks for the wonderful blog. We just recently found out our son will be visiting Majahual as part of a mission trip with Wisconsin Lutheran High School. Its great to see where he'll be going, and we're looking forward to a wonderful experience for him in June!

Cows! Calves! Dogs and cats!(And let's not talk about the mice and occasional rat.) Seriously though, I live on a dairy farm. We also hear and sometimes see raccoons, fox, coyote, lots of turkeys, lots of geese, occasionally ducks, opossums, pheasant now and then, and lots of rabbits. Thanks for your blog. I really enjoy it.

I know this is a little late... but I have heard similar comments from my Kindergarteners.
Random things Kindergarteners say after learning about Mexico for a month...
Mexico! (when seeing the Mexican flag)
Holy Guacamole! (A favorite quote from one of their favorite book characters, Skippyjon Jones)
Why don't we say the Spanish prayer? (after switching back to the traditional English meal prayer)
