Recipes

From tangy salsas to sweet milk cakes to savory steak, Mexico has something to offer all taste buds.

During our time in Mexico, both Mike and I have enjoyed sampling this country's table fare. I'm always up for trying a new recipe, experimenting with salsa combinations, and sampling dishes in restaurants and homes.

Of course, between the two of us, Mike is much more adventurous. Our daughters also like to try new things, many times thanks to Dad's encouragement (Trinity tried fried grasshoppers when she was one year old; Noelle tried a cheesy eyeball sandwich at the age of two - neither of these had my prior approval, but they have now become a bit of a family joke, since the girls survived and even enjoyed the foods!).

Over the life of this blog, I have occasionally shared recipes, highlighting just a sliver of Mexico's vast culinary offerings. Listed below are links to these recipes. Feel free to try them and let us know what you think!

And if you have a Mexican recipe you love and want to share, leave a comment and tell us about it. Thanks!
